Project Summary:
A large midwest university with an annual enrollment of more than 14,000 students. With a history dating back to the late 1800s, the campus has an interesting mix of historical buildings and new, high-tech learning centers. In total, the campus has more than 27 structures, 2.6 million gross-square-feet and 327 acres.

AMI has provided  asbestos consulting, environmental investigation, remediation and industrial hygiene services for environmental issues for the past 20 years.  From asbestos inspections to specification development to project management during remediation, AMI has been a long-time provider of environmental services to many campuses throughout the midwest.

In 2008, AMI Environmental completed a series of environmental projects for the University including work in these campus facilities:

  • Utilities Plant
  • Student Union
  • Gymnasium
  • Research Facility
  • Arts & Science Building
  • Biology Hall
  • Large Multi-Floor Library
  • Community Service & Public Affairs Building
