Project Summary:
Since 1998, AMI Environmental has been providing environmental solutions to one of the largest school district in Nebraska. AMI has been providing services to assist the district with the safety of 22,000 students, grades K-12, each year.

For the past 15 years, AMI has conducted AHERA (Asbestos Hazardous Emergency Response Act) asbestos compliance services for each of the District’s 35 facilities. Each school is inspected and tested for asbestos every six months. As part of this service, AMI performs, asbestos abatement project design and compliance monitoring as needed.

As an environmental solutions partner, AMI has also become a reliable resource for many school districts in Nebraska providing:

  • Removal of hazardous materials and chemical inventory disposal
  • Indoor Air Quality/mold testing and consulting services
  • Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for new building sites
